Four plus twenty

equals blackbirds.

Mama baked a pie.

Are blackbirds crows

with better word?

Not so good in pie

that's open—

birds begin to sing.

Pi is taught here, only I

can spell Pythagoras

I've touched inside

a triangle

inside a circle too

one feels sharp

the other smooth

When the circle's open

the birds begin to sing.

A blackbird's in the parking lot

on Mr. Felton's car, Mr. Felton's

in it, kissing Mrs. Pharr.

A plus B is equal C,

long side sliding down.
