Light or Dark Speech

William Olsen has published three collections of poetry from TriQuarterly Books, Avenue of Vanishing (2007), Trouble Lights (2002), and Vision of a Storm Cloud (1996). His collection The Hand of God and a Few Bright Flowers was reissued in 2003 as part of the Carnegie Mellon Classic Contemporary Series. His poems and essays have appeared in The New Republic , Chicago Review , The Paris Review , and The Southern Review, and TriQuarterly, among numerous others. He edits New Issues Poetry & Prose and teaches at Western Michigan University and Vermont College.
