Danielle Kotrla’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in the South Carolina Review , The Pinch , Moon City Review , and elsewhere. She is the recipient of the 2022 Catherine and Joan Byrne Poetry Prize, sponsored by the Academy of American Poets. She holds an MFA in poetry from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Georgia.
