Patricia Colleen Murphy’s book Hemming Flames (Utah State University Press, 2016) won the Milt Kessler Poetry Book Award in 2017 and the May Swenson Poetry Award. A chapter from her memoir in progress has been published by New Orleans Review , and her writing has appeared in many literary journals, including The Iowa Review , Quarterly West , American Poetry Review , and North American Review .
