Dorothy Allison
Katy Resch George’s short story collection Exposure (Kore Press, 2016) was a finalist for The Hudson Prize from Black Lawrence Press, the Press 53 Award for Short Fiction, and the Serena McDonald Kennedy Award from Snake Nation Press. Her stories have been recognized with by the storySouth Million Writers Award and have been included as one of The Wigleaf Top 50 (Very) Short Fictions of the year. She is a recipient of artist grants from CultureWorks Richmond and the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund. She received her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
