Melanie Faranello

Melanie Faranello’s work has appeared in Fifth Wednesday Journal , Literary Mama , The Ampersand Review ,and Requited , among others. For her fiction, she was the recipient of The New School’s Chapbook Award in Fiction in 2004, a finalist in Sarabande Books’ Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction, a top twenty-five winner in Glimmer Train ’s Very Short Fiction Contest , and a semi-finalist in Dana Awards for the Novel .
