Her poems are included in the recent anthologies I Was Indian (FootHills 2009), Letters to the World (Red Hen Press, 2008), and the Kakalak Anthology of Carolina Poets (2008). Her work has also appeared in Eclectica Magazine , Future Earth Magazine , Yellow Medicine Review , and Redheaded Stepchild . Becker is the recipient of a creative projects grant from the Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council, and was a finalist for the DeNovo Award from C&R Press.
