John Hoppenthaler

John Hoppenthaler will be featured as a "Poet Among Us" at this year's Dodge Poetry Festival. His poetry has recently appeared or is forthcoming in The Southern Review, Chelsea, Pleiades, Tar River Poetry, Margie , and the anthology September 11, 2001: American Writers Respond, edited by William Heyen. His first book of poetry, Lives Of Water , will be published by Carnegie Mellon University Press in 2003. He is currently editing a collection of essays and interviews on the poetry of Jean Valentine, which is scheduled to be published by Wesleyan University Press in 2003. He is poetry editor of Kestrel.
