Heather Altfeld

Heather Altfeld’s first book, The Disappearing Theatre (Poets at Work Press, 2016), won the Poets@Work Book Prize, judged by Stephen Dunn. Her poetry has appeared in Narrative Magazine , Pleiades , ZYZZYVA , Poetry Northwest , and others. She won the 2015 Pablo Neruda Prize in Poetry with Nimrod International Journal . She teaches in the English Department and the Honors Program at California State University–Chico and is a member of the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley. Photo by Heather Brett
