Eric Torgersen

Eric Torgersen’s latest collection of poems is Heart. Wood. (Word Press, 2012). He has published four other books and two chapbooks of poetry, two novellas, and Dear Friend: Rainer Maria Rilke and Paula Modersohn-Becker (Northwestern University Press, 1998). His translations of Nicolas Born have appeared in Modern Poetry in Translation , Michigan Quarterly Review , FIELD , and Exquisite Corpse . Torgersen is professor emeritus of English, Central Michigan University.
