Cherene Sherrard

Cherene Sherrard is the author of the poetry collection Vixen (Autumn House Press, 2017), and a chapbook, Mistress, Reclining (Finishing Line Press, 2010), which won the New Women’s Voices award. A Cave Canem fellow, her fiction and poetry have appeared in Crab Orchard Review , The Los Angeles Review , New York Times Magazine , Obsidian III , and Prairie Schooner . She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including a Wisconsin Arts Board Grant and fellowships to Ragdale and Sewanee Writers’ Conference.
