Casey Clabough is the author of the Appalachian travel book The Warrior’s Path: Reflections along an Ancient Route (University of Tennessee Press, 2007), as well as four scholarly books on southern writers, including Gayl Jones: The Language of Voice and Freedom in Her Writings (McFarland, 2008). His work appears in The Virginia Quarterly Review , Shenandoah , Sewanee Review , and The Hollins Critic . Clabough serves as English Department chair and graduate director at Lynchburg College, as literature editor for the Encyclopedia Virginia , and as editor of the James Dickey Review .
