Angela Flournoy

Angela Flournoy is the author of the novel The Turner House (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016), which won the 2016 Cabell First Novelist Award, was a finalist for the National Book Award, and was named a New York Times Notable Book of 2015. Her writing has appeared in The Paris Review , Los Angeles Times , New Republic , The New York Times , and elsewhere. She is the 2016–17 Rona Jaffe Foundation Fellow at the New York Public Library Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers.
